Monica is one of the two playable characters in Dark Cloud 2. She is a princess that comes from 100 years in the future. She say that she came to the past to help Max protecting his red Atlamillia that enable travel through time, his allowing movement from the past into the future. Monica's Atlamillia is blue and enables her to travel from the future to the past. There is another Atlamillia that the main villian in the game has it. In the story, tells you why he has it. Her father was murdered by Gaspard, one of the servants of the villian known as Griffon. His true name is Sirus. She joined Max to battle monsters and go and elimate Griffon and end his plans, that were to destroy the past. She also has the unusual ability to change into monsters, which avails her new combat options, as well as enabling her to talk to other monsters of the same "type". Sirus Atlamilla is Yellow, but its power is unknown. After they beat Sirus and the Dark Element afterwards, that he came out out of Sirus body. The Dark Element found Sirus anger to humans and entered his body and help him. Sirus didn't know this and the final battle was against him. The 2nd moon was falling and Sirus decided that it was no need for the 2nd moon and sacrificed himself to save the planet. Afterwards Monica was gone to her time but Max and Monica meet again in the beginning of Chapter 8.
