| God of Destiny's score = 8.7 / 10 Positive - Some creepy music and environments - Great looking characters - A good variaty of enemies - Amazing cutscenes - Catching ghosts is cool Negative - The game is not very scary - It's easy to get stuck - No map? - Takes too much time to load the game from the Main Menu Ghosthunter is a great game. Mostly because it has things that are creepy and exciting that neither Silent Hill, Resident Evil nor Fatal Frame have. The game starts with a cutscene of a man, who is chasing another person. One of the man enters and hides into a villa or something. The 2nd man is then assaulted by ghosts but manages to beat them. Later, the real thing starts. You will be Lazarus Jones, a cop and his partner Anna Steel, who are sent to an abandoned school. When they are there Anna is kidnapped and you have to find the ghost who has kidnapped her. When in a room, Lazarus frees some ghosts and one of them enters in his body and he starts to hear voices and see ghosts. The game has some creepy moments and scares but not such that make you faint with terror. The music especially creepy, and so are some of the environements. The first place will be the school, then for some reason, the guy of the computer sends Lazarus to a swamp. In the game you can get control of the ghost when finding somethings called to Summon Astral. Astral is the ghost inside of Lazarus. There are plenty of abilities Astral can have throughout the game. And Lazarus has some cool weaponary. The grenade is a cool weapon to catch ghosts. You have to launch the grenade to the ghost and then shoot him until the grenade catches it. Ghosthunter makes a great first impression and continues to impress with its music and graphics. There are some ugly looking enemies and cute looking teddy-bears, which don't remain cute for long. There isn't an exaggerated number of cutscenes but the ones there are are absolutely amazing and pretty amazing thanks to great looking characters and terrific voice acting. The game still has some minor flaws. First of all the game is NOT very scary at first. The creepy music keeps you at the edge of your seat and monsters might scare you. What makes Ghosthunter creepy is that you'll often hear creepy voices. Normally of ghosts which are near by. Ghosthunter has one big problem. It's easy to get stuck. Mostly thanks to little advice from the game, but little better than nothing. One bug problem. No map. It's easy to go around in cirlces with no map. Some places are in the same area look almost the same, so it's easy to get lost. With it's get impressions Ghosthunter can easily be forgiven for its minor flaws. Ghosthunter is great fro anyone who wants some not very creepy but at the same time entertaining, even though the game isn't especially challanging, at first.
