Without a doubt, Crash 3: Warped is the best in the series. I personally think this game could have got an 8.2 for sure on the ps2. With those graphics it's easy to impress. Crash 3 takes place in a time-warp. Aside from Cortex, there is a new enemy, which was never shown on previous Crash Bandicoot games.
There are more than 35 Levels ( hidden included ), almost all 3D. You can ride a motorcycle, a Jet Ski, planes and even a Dinosaur cub. This time Coco is available as playable character. There is one boss that you have to use Coco and not Crash. Coco in all has 7 levels if i don't remember right and the boss. The difficulty in the game isn't very hard and can be beaten by anyone. Even though, the time challange, the ones you need to beat the clock are not easy and need to be fast. But apat from that the game is easy to beat, but takes you time.
This series improves more over the past game. The game dosen't have really cutscenes. Like Crash 2, this one you have to collect 25 crystal for Cortex and then you have to collect all gems and this is not easy. I was saying easy to collect crystals. The sound in the game is quite impressive but visuals are alot better which makes this game the best platformer availalble on this platform.
Even though Crash 3 has all these great things, it's still has things to be improved. Mostly monsters just protect there area where they stand. They don't attack you. Time challanges can also be annoying to get gold or platinum. Even boss fights, there are only 6 to 7 bosses. Another thing, Coco could have had some moves. The only missions ahe has are the plane, Jet Ski and another.
But apart Crash 3 has a great presentation, awesome visuals and great sound. From mascot Crash Bandicoot has turned into one of the best platformers ever made and it's worth playing who has a Playstation 1, especially for those who played Spyro the Dragon. This is the best in the series.
